ISFB interviews

Specialized banking advisors

Do you have an example of an emblematic training course that you organized with ISFB?

One of our employees, who has been working for the bank for several years, was recently appointed branch manager. With solid skills acquired in the field and recognized by all, both within the bank and by our customers, this employee was able to take the Leadership and Management courses and also benefit from the support of an ISFB coach. This process enabled her to consolidate her knowledge and prepare for the challenges of her new position.

How important is it to keep your skills up to date as a banking specialist?

The field of finance is evolving at a very fast pace. Evolving regulations, banking technologies and customer needs mean that every member of staff must regularly update his or her skills. In this context, an institute like ISFB has a central role to play.

What are the advantages for a bank like yours of working with ISFB?

ISFB is a benchmark institution in the field of banking training. The strength of ISFB's training programs lies in the fact that the lecturers are professionals and experts in their field. We are dealing with specialists who are well known and recognized in their field, who tackle the issues presented in the curricula on a daily basis, and who are able to pass on their knowledge by referring to concrete, real-life cases. Internally, our ISFB training staff are considered benchmarks in their field.

What's the advantage of working with ISFB across the entire value chain, from training employees to supporting them as they evolve?

This value chain enables us to build up our skills. To take the example of our employee, she benefited from a theoretical part, followed by a practical part on the bank's site. The coach observed her in her day-to-day work and approved of her approach. So, not only did she improve her skills, but the fact that an external specialist validated them reassured her even more. This is very rewarding for the employee.
