Alumni Circle - 2023 Laureates Ceremony

150 participants gather to celebrate the ISFB Laureates

The 34th ISFB Annual Ceremony took place on Wednesday November1 at the Théâtre Les Salons, in the company of some 150 participants, including ISFB certificate winners from the last two semesters, HR managers and representatives from member banks, as well as the Institute's lecturers and skills advisors.

The Chairman of the Board, Christian Skaanild, spoke of the diversification strategy pursued by the Institute in response to the transformation of the continuing professional education sector, and of its transversal positioning across the entire range of banking skills. He welcomed the strategic partnership between ISFB and HEG-Geneva, as well as the new guidance, assessment and coaching services now offered by ISFB to all its members.

Managing Director Mathias Baitan then presented the Institute's new dynamic, underlining the association's collective strength in coping with the changes taking place in the French-speaking world's financial center, and the key role entrusted to ISFB in helping to maintain skills. He underlined ISFB's interconnectivity with key players in the French-speaking region's economic and academic landscape, as well as the strength of the links forged between participants and stakeholders in the ISFB ecosystem.

The winners of the last two semesters were then called on stage by Deputy Director Frédéric Ruiz to receive their ISFB Certificate and traditional headdress.

A round-table discussion with Natalia Mensdorff-Pouilly, HR Director of the Mirabaud Group, Raphaël Hubin, entrepreneur and lecturer in the field of asset management, and Stéphane Bonzon, psychologist and guidance counsellor at ISFB, focused on the theme of career development in banking.

The ISFB Member prize, awarded each year to a bank that has made a particular commitment to employee training, was awarded to Camille Vial, Managing Partner of the Mirabaud Group.

The ceremony was enhanced by interludes performed this year by the improvisational theater troupe Les Improbables. The 34th edition of the awards took place in a festive atmosphere, followed as usual by a cocktail reception in honor of the winners.
