This training course is designed for new employees of financial institutions (onboarding days), or for employees already working in support activities who have no specific knowledge of the banking environment in which they are evolving.

Acquiring banking knowledge and culture for new employees is a lever for rapid integration and collective performance for a bank.

This training is divided into 3 phases:

  • An introduction to the banking industry, its main components and its ecosystem
  • Immersion in the core functions of banking institutions
  • A panorama of investment, wealth management and customer advisory topics. Other topics are available on request.


Target audience

  • New employees in a banking establishment
  • Employees already in post, but moving into support or staff functions, with no initial banking training


Courses are taught by one of our ISFB lecturers.

Key objectives

  • Understand the bank's positioning, strategy, businesses, challenges and benefits for customers and society as a whole,
  • As an employee, know how to position your mission within the bank,
  • Understand the bank's structure, operations and organization, as well as its various business lines,
  • Know and position your banking services (products, services, solutions),
  • Understand what's at stake so you can anticipate and position yourself in the face of change,
  • Create a common initial culture for the Bank.
Duration: Training is organized over two days, but can vary according to requirements. Half-day courses are also available.

Format: Face-to-face, on the member's premises, or at the Institute.

* Price valid for a group of up to 12 people. Please contact us if you need to train more people over several sessions, or if you have a specific organization.

Your registration will then be considered as firm and definitive. 3 weeks before the beginning of the training, you will have access to our ISFB collaborative space, then a few days before the beginning of the training to the specific space reserved for the participants of this training.
