Why choose ISFB's training in Banking Management & Adaptability: Alexandre Lippuner's feedback

In this interview, Alexandre Lippuner shares his experience of the ISFB Banking Management & Adaptability course. Between concrete tools, decision-making in an uncertain context and personal enrichment, discover how this training has transformed his professional practice.

Mr. Lippuner, you recently completed the ISFB Banking Management & Adaptability Certificate course. What motivated your choice?

What motivated me most of all was the desire to broaden my knowledge, discover new perspectives and develop my professional network.

ISFB's offer seemed to meet these expectations perfectly, and the pace of the program was ideally suited to my current position, enabling me to combine learning with professional responsibilities.

What would you say were the highlights of this program?

Each day of training enabled me to acquire new tools and broaden my skills.

However, two days stood out for me more than the others:

  • Decision-making in an uncertain environment: this day took us completely out of the banking context to confront us with the challenges of rapid decision-making, an essential tool for any bank employee.
  • Improvisation and Communication: I didn't expect to be so challenged by having to express myself in front of people I didn't know very well. Although a little uncomfortable at the time, it turned out to be a fun and rewarding experience.

How has this experience enriched your day-to-day professional practice?

Over and above the fascinating encounters and exchanges, this experience has enabled me to discover a number of tools that I now try to apply on a daily basis. Here are two concrete examples:

  • Taking a step back: changing perspective and putting things into perspective can often help defuse a problem.
  • Adapting to others: we all have different ways of reacting, depending on our character, our values and our state of mind. Rather than expecting others to adapt to us, it's more effective to learn to adapt to our environment and the people we interact with.

Why would you recommend this training to your colleagues?

This course was an excellent opportunity to get away from my daily routine and take a step back from our practices. The courses were of the highest quality, given by passionate speakers. Exchanges with other participants were also enriching. Each day's training provided me with new, concrete tools that were immediately applicable in my day-to-day professional and personal life.
