Context
Are you active in the banking and finance sector in French-speaking Switzerland, and want to anticipate your (pre)retirement? Then this two-day training course could be for you. On the first day, you'll learn about the mechanisms of Swiss pension planning and taxation, with the aim of optimizing your savings at retirement age. This technical day will be complemented by a day that will introduce you to the psychological issues involved in adapting to your future life as a retiree, with the aim of optimizing your well-being in retirement.
Target audience
- Banking and finance professionals in French-speaking Switzerland preparing for pre-retirement or retirement (no specific age)
- The course is also open to the general public outside banking and finance (spouses, partners, etc.).
Stakeholders
- Albert Gallegos, LLM University of Lausanne, Head of Wealth Solutions at Banque Cantonale de Genève, ISFB lecturer, and author of the book "Le guide de vos finances personnelles", published by Editions Favre.
- Prof. Dr. Ariane Froidevaux, PhD in Psychology from the University of Lausanne, Assistant Professor of Management at the University of Texas College of Business. Her doctoral thesis focused on the psychological challenges of adapting to the work-retirement transition.
- 2 non-consecutive days
- Face-to-face, on ISFB premises in Geneva

Training is organized over two non-consecutive days.
Module 1: Optimizing your pension provision
- Budget preparation and analysis of revenue sources
- Analysis of the various options, taking into account tax, personal and inheritance issues
Module 2: Managing a life transition
- Work on social representations of aging and retirement
- Analysis of the multiple sources of our identity
- Analysis of time management issues in retirement and possible activities
- Review and discussion of managing interpersonal relationships in retirement.

CHF 960.00 / person, or CHF 1'440.00 / couple (member price applicable if one of the participants is an employee of a member company)
CHF 1'300.00 / person, or CHF 1'950.- / couple (non-member price)
The member prices apply to all ISFB member institutes and their employees.

Your registration will then be considered as firm and definitive. 3 weeks before the beginning of the training, you will have access to our ISFB collaborative space, then a few days before the beginning of the training to the specific space reserved for the participants of this training.
