The ISFB Innovation Lab is the Institut Supérieur de Formation Bancaire’s experimental space. It brings together the research, analysis, and testing we conduct on innovations that can support skills development in banking and finance.

Its goal is not to follow trends for their own sake, but to identify what can be useful, practical, and actionable for professionals in the sector: new tools, educational formats, applications of artificial intelligence, guidance systems, support methods, or decision-making tools.

Through the Innovation Lab, the ISFB is dedicating time to exploring emerging solutions in order to better understand their potential, their limitations, and the conditions for integrating them into training, certification, and career development programs.

ISFB Compass

The ISFB Compass, currently available in beta, is designed to help each visitor navigate their career path by providing clear, context-specific, and useful answers—drawn from ISFB sources and powered by AI hosted in Switzerland—to help them identify the training programs, certifications, or next steps best suited to their situation.

ISFB Monitoring

The ISFB Monitoring Index, currently available in beta, is designed to visually present indicators that can help users better understand the skills market. The system is currently being tested, and the indicators are being developed, in particular with the assistance of academic partners.

ISFB Digital Hub

The ISFB Digital Hub, currently in beta, is designed to foster interaction between ISFB Hub members and the ISFB alumni network by facilitating communication among cohorts and the sharing of information related to skills development.

ISFB Library

The ISFB Library brings together the popular science publications offered by the ISFB Skills Observatory. It also includes the various PDF files and white papers distributed by the ISFB, serving as a platform for distribution and indexing.

ISFB Summer School

The ISFB Summer School was launched in the summer of 2025 following informal discussions between the training managers and the management team after they had participated in various career fairs organized by universities and colleges.

T&T ISFB

The Trajectories & Transitions program was developed and revised by our FPSE training managers in collaboration with the Career Development division to help individuals undergoing a career transition better re-enter the job market.

ISFB Data Management Certificate

The concept of the ISFB Data Management Certificate was first presented at a morning session for training managers from ISFB member banks. The idea was to offer a specialized training program for our members designed to educate employees on the challenges of data management.

ISFB Certificate in Banking Management and Adaptability

The ISFB Certificate in Banking Management and Adaptability, known as the “ISFB MBA,” is the ISFB’s first program designed to train banking executives, drawing on a variety of disciplinary approaches to foster adaptability among industry leaders.

The ISFB CFOA™ certification

With the registered trademark ISFB-CFOA™, the ISFB is strengthening recognition of a unique certification in French-speaking Switzerland dedicated to the global challenges facing family offices. Reserved for holders who have successfully completed the entire program, this trademark makes their skills more transparent and helps build a community of specialists trained in wealth management, family dynamics, and organizational matters.
