Management coaching

Catalog | Skills development

Context

Taking on managerial responsibility, needing to step back or challenge your style. As managers, we all have our strengths and limitations, not least in relation to the system in which we operate. Sometimes, expectations are not clearly expressed by the organization, and the manager finds himself navigating an ambiguous situation. At other times, it's the manager himself who can't find the paths to exploit his full potential within the system he's navigating. ISFB supports you in this professional reflection with a specific method.

Managerial coaching can also help participants experiencing difficulties in their job to develop their full potential within the system in which they operate. This program, led by a banking expert, combines results-oriented brainstorming sessions with one or more skills-building sessions, on request.

Method

The program combines results-oriented reflection sessions with one or more consolidation sessions on request

  • first session to define expectations (before contracting)
  • 4 coaching / sparring sessions (additional sessions possible)
  • 1 positioning test according to the expressed need
  • 1 session of restitution

Target audience

  • Banking and financial specialists taking on new managerial responsibilities
  • Middle and senior managers wishing to use a sparring partner
  • Talents and potentials wishing to shape their managerial style

Stakeholders

Sessions are conducted by an expert depending on the client's choice (a coach with expertise in banking, a former HRD coach, a career psychologist, etc.)

Other elements

  • The needs definition and feedback sessions take place with or without the employer, depending on the initial request.
  • No reports are issued and the coaching/sparring sessions are completely confidential to the employer in all cases, unless explicitly requested by the client.
Interview with Christelle Didier, BCGE HR Director, on the ISFB's services for her organization's executives:

"This process allowed him to anchor his knowledge and prepare for the challenges associated with his new position."

How will it work?

  • After receiving your contact request using the form on the right, ISFB will contact you to clarify your request. During this first contact of about 30 minutes, we will identify together your request and the means we can put at your disposal to help you. It is thanks to this first meeting, which is free and without obligation, that we will be able to identify the person who will be able to accompany you. Once this step has been completed, we will send you an offer, which you can freely accept or not.

Upon validation of the offer

By default, the program looks like this:

  • 4 coaching/sparring sessions of 60 minutes
  • 1 placement test
  • 1 session of restitution of 45 minutes

Another configuration can of course be determined based on the needs analysis.

Where will it happen?

  • The first needs analysis discussion takes place by phone.
  • The sessions take place face-to-face at the Institute's premises, at the employer's premises, or remotely at the client's express request
  • Sessions can be held on weekdays, early in the morning, during the day, between noon and two, in the afternoon or at the end of the day. Saturday sessions are also available upon request.
  • Coaching/sparring sessions can be conducted in French or in English (the language will be determined during the definition of the need, to select the right speaker).
