New ISFB Staff and Support Certificate: tailor-made training for cross-functional banking functions

A new program designed for cross-functional employees!

In response to the needs of its member institutions active in banking and finance, the ISFB is launching the new ISFB Staff and Support Certificate for a first session starting on September 29, 2025. The course, developed in close collaboration with financial market players, provides the knowledge needed to navigate across support activities, as well as to support staff management within financial institutions. The certificate is aimed both at staff and support/back-office specialists seeking to prove their current professional experience with a certification recognized by member banks, and at those wishing to take up such positions in the future.

This new 14-day certificate takes place entirely face-to-face at the Institute's premises in the Praille district of Lancy. It develops a global and strategic vision of the bank, while deepening coordination skills and decision-making and communication flows. It covers risk, data, process and project management, as well as regulatory aspects and internal controls. This training program fosters the emergence of well-rounded profiles, capable of adapting to varied and demanding work environments.

An enriching training experience through experiential learning and networking

In addition to acquiring skills directly applicable in professional practice, ISFB Certificate participants benefit from access to a network of recognized professionals. The lecturers, who are themselves active in the banking and financial ecosystem, offer participants direct contact with the field by sharing their experiences.

By working alongside lecturers who are themselves employed by member banks, participants are immersed in the real, current issues facing these functions, enabling them to develop their employability.

At the end of the program, participants obtain a certification recognized by member banks.
