Evaluate and certify technical and interpersonal skills in banking and finance
The ISFB is the only accredited training organization based in French-speaking Switzerland that administers SAQ certification exams for its member banks and, more broadly, for participants in the financial sector. The regular review of course content by the Program Director, the creation of materials covering exam topics, and the organization of in-person courses taught by experts currently employed at banking institutions are all distinctive features and strengths that characterize the ISFB’s certification program.
The institute serves as an SAQ-accredited center and offers several exam preparation programs for the CWMA segment, as well as recertification training for the CP, CI, CCoB, SME, and CWMA segments.

“Certification is a process that is sometimes viewed negatively by those involved. We aim to turn this challenge into an opportunity through high-quality in-person training sessions that encourage discussion and networking, as well as through close collaboration with HR and training managers, so that we can use this process to support skills development within their organizations.”

Would you like to find out more about SAQ Certification?
SAQ certification is the Swiss Bankers Association's response to the training requirements set out in the Financial Services Act. It consists of an assessment of technical and behavioral skills, divided into one or more written exams and an oral exam. To this end, the SBA has entrusted the Swiss Association for Quality (SAQ) with the task of setting up this certification program, in line with the content requirements laid down by the SBA.

About SAQ
The SAQ Client Advisor Bank certification system was developed in close collaboration with the Swiss banking industry and is recommended by Swiss Banking to its members.
The SAQ certificate is a guarantee of quality, attesting that the holder has the skills and is familiar with the rules of conduct defined by the advisor profession.
Only professionals who are employed by a financial institution (bank or independent asset manager) and who have or hold a client portfolio, as well as self-employed professionals in direct contact with clients, are eligible to sit the required examination.
SAQ Swiss Association for Quality has commissioned examination institutes to conduct public examinations. Each examination institute has its own set of examinations. For French-speaking Switzerland, the ISFB conducts examinations to SAQ standards.
