CWMA SAQ certification preparation program
Catalog | CWMA Certification
Context
ISFB is the largest external certification center in French-speaking Switzerland. Since 2018, banks have placed their trust in us by entrusting us with the training and preparation of their employees so that they can sit the SAQ CWMA exams with complete peace of mind.
Drawing on this experience, the CWMA SAQ certification preparation program has been designed to take account of the current constraints and needs of banks and candidates alike: to manage the training, certification and follow-up process for their employees, whatever the volume of candidates per bank involved, enabling them to focus their resources on other priorities while ensuring preparation that maximizes their chances of success.
Our integrated solution (administration, reporting, support, training, examinations) takes care of everything right up to your SAQ registration, in a compact and essential package.
The ISFB SAQ CWMA certification preparation program offers one-day face-to-face training sessions, including an intermediate placement test, to help candidates prepare for the final exam.
Our ISFB experts, all of whom are active in the banking and finance sector, provide face-to-face training, while our Product Manager coordinates the entire curriculum, exams and ongoing certification.

Could you tell us about your career path and your initial and continuing training?
I have been working in Private Banking since 2011 starting off as an Assistant RM in the Wealth Management division at BSI SA, Bahrain Branch.
In my 13 years of working in the private banking sphere, I have honed by skills and developed my knowledge in the different elements of this business from private banking support, to the investment and advisory universe, credit and wealth management services. The CMWA certification covered every component and topic that could be faced by a senior private banker. It further solidified the knowledge required and gave guidance on structure needed to best serve the HNWI and UHNWI space.
You obtained your CWMA SAQ Certification in 2023. What was your state of mind at the start of the certification process?
I was initially taken aback by the amount of information and material that we needed to cover, especially since there were already many changes happening on the work front that needed attention.
If you had to advise future SAQ certified people, what advice would you give them?
Proper planning is key - do not leave the studying to the last minute!
Certification is a process that is sometimes perceived negatively by those concerned. Our aim is to transform this constraint into an opportunity, by offering high-quality face-to-face training to encourage exchange and networking, as well as close contact with HR and training managers, so that they can take advantage of this process to support skills development within their establishments. Certification thus becomes not only a guarantee of safety and compliance with standards, but also a real performance lever for banking establishments.
