Context

Industry convergence (prices, products, target clientele), the increasing complexity of the financial industry and a fast-changing environment place human capital at the heart of the organization as a distinctive element and a differentiating factor.
Managing sustainable individual performance, as well as optimizing and managing collective resources, requires powerful reading keys, avenues for reflection and concrete tools for all managers, whatever the size of the organization in which they operate.

Key objectives

The knowledge and skills acquired in this CAS should enable the participant to acquire a tactical or strategic vision of the workings of a bank or financial institution, so as to be able to:
- take part in an exploratory, informative or analytical discussion;
- exchange views with specialists or take note of their inputs (presentations, reports, etc.);
- make a well-founded decision, taking different parameters into account;
- evaluate the relevance of potential solutions and the state of the art of existing solutions;
- make justified proposals;
- monitor trends and the direction in which the theme is moving.

Target audience

- Industry: employees of the banking sector and, more broadly, of financial or para-financial institutions (independent managers, asset managers, financial industry consultants, banking outsourcing companies)
- people working in operations, support and cross-functional functions, or on the front line
- anyone wishing to take on a management role in the financial sector, and needing practical management ideas and tools.

Reviews

Successful completion of each module requires an assessment, which may take the form of an individual or group written report or a written exam.

The methods of assessment are defined in the degree program regulations.

To obtain the degree, students must attend 80% of classes and pass the assessments. All absences must be justified. A grade of 4.0 is required to pass a module. If a participant obtains a grade lower than 4.0 in a module, they may retake the module a second and final time in accordance with the procedures described in the module description. A second failure is final.

The diploma is awarded to participants who have satisfied the assessment requirements for each of the modules in the Certificate program.
