Research & Networking
To bridge the gap between applied research, professional practice, and the financial network in French-speaking Switzerland in order to foster, share, and promote expertise.
The ISFB serves as a skills ecosystem: it monitors industry practices, analyzes changes in the professional landscape, and makes skills more transparent. By connecting applied research, the field, and the professional network, it builds bridges between people, institutions, and career paths, thereby helping to promote the skills of the French-speaking Swiss financial center.
Mathias Baitan, General Manager
As a professional association serving the financial sector in French-speaking Switzerland, the ISFB is at the heart of an ecosystem that brings together member institutions, their employees, public and private institutions, universities, and training centers committed to developing banking and financial skills. Through its activities, the ISFB actively contributes to strengthening and promoting the banking and financial sector in French-speaking Switzerland, for the benefit of the entire community.
This contribution takes the form, in particular, of managing the ISFB Observatory on Banking and Financial Skills, which aims to analyze changes in the industry and anticipate future skill needs. It also involves hosting thematic conferences, organizing meetings between industry experts, and regularly publishing content that highlights developments in the industry and the skills required of professionals in the sector.
