ISFB prize awarded to two prizewinners from the University of Fribourg's Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences and Management

Introduced in 2023, the ISFB prize is awarded each year for a Bachelor's or Master's thesis written within the Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences and Management, and which contributes to the reputation of banking and finance in Switzerland.

On October 11, Ms Siegenthaler and Mr Ceresa were awarded the ISFB prize for their Bachelor's and Master's work respectively. ISFB wishes the winners and all graduates of the University of Fribourg every success in their studies and careers.

ISFB is the competence and career center for banks and financial institutions in French-speaking Switzerland. The Institute offers services specific to the banking and finance sector in the fields of continuing education, examinations and skills assessments, the development of social skills and the promotion of competence. Founded in 1987 as a not-for-profit professional association, the ISFB currently brings together over fifty banking and financial institutions throughout French-speaking Switzerland.

As a professional association, the ISFB operates within an ecosystem made up of numerous stakeholders: on the one hand, member institutions, their employees and the general public interested in banking and finance; and on the other, public and private players, training centers and universities, involved in initial or continuing training, career development and advice. What they all have in common is that they are active in the management of banking and financial skills.
