The emergence of artificial intelligence accelerates learning and refines practices, without replacing the experience that builds competence.
Artificial intelligence (AI) is entering our learning processes at an unprecedented speed: it amplifies our reflexes, our motivations, and our relationship with knowledge. But it cannot replace encounters, reflection, or shared experiences—the elements that truly transform skills.
I see this in action in my role as head of an association dedicated to skills development. When our instructors prepare their lessons, they can check in a matter of seconds whether the objectives are correctly formulated or whether the content is aligned with the program. When designing our exams, AI helps us identify awkward phrasing or unclear instructions. It saves us time and improves our quality processes.
On the other side of the mirror, as a learner, I observe even more clearly the rapid evolution of AI and its impact on our relationship with learning. Of course, I could ask it...
