Strengthening banking expertise: Banque Heritage joins ISFB
February 27, 2025
To keep abreast of developments in the banking sector, Banque Heritage has chosen to join the ISFB as an institutional member. Through this collaboration, the bank intends to offer its employees high-quality training adapted to today's challenges, while reinforcing its attractiveness as an employer. Discover the reasons for this commitment and the expected benefits for the bank and its teams.
What were the main reasons why your company decided to join the ISFB as an institutional member?
As a private bank with a long-standing presence in Geneva, we felt it was essential to join the Institute to support the skills development of professionals in our sector. We were particularly impressed by the dynamism and diversity of the ISFB's range of training courses, and this was a key factor in our decision to join. These assets convinced us to become a member of the association, so that we could offer our employees high-quality training led by banking industry experts.
What's more, ISFB plays a key role as an SAQ-accredited center for CWMA exams, and offers tailored re-certification solutions for our bankers and investment experts, a valuable asset in maintaining excellence within our teams.
Could you tell us a little about your establishment?
We are an independent Swiss banking group, deeply committed to our customers and the success of their families. Founded by entrepreneurial families, we combine the agility and personalized approach of a family business with the capabilities and reach of a larger institution, offering the best of both worlds. Driven by passion, curiosity and ambition, our aim is to share our successes and expertise with our customers.
With 189 employees working in our offices in Switzerland (Geneva, Basel, Zurich, Sion) and Uruguay (Montevideo), we cultivate a stimulating and agile working environment, conducive to initiative and decision-making. We pride ourselves on empowering every member of our teams and actively supporting them in achieving their ambitions.
How do you see this membership contributing to the development of your employees' skills and enhancing the attractiveness of your employer brand?
In an ever-changing banking sector, where regulatory, technological and economic challenges are omnipresent, this membership enables our employees to stay at the forefront of market developments and anticipate industry requirements.
What types of training or certification offered by the ISFB seem particularly relevant to your teams?
The list is long, but I can share with you a very recent example with the organization of workshops on our premises on the challenges and prospects of Artificial Intelligence in banking. In the short term, topics such as sustainable finance and cryptoasset management seem particularly relevant. These topics are both accessible and essential, and have a direct impact on all banking professions.
What do you think our professional association can contribute to the French-speaking world?
ISFB plays a key role in professional training in the banking and finance sector in the French-speaking part of Switzerland, thanks to a wide range of training courses tailored to market requirements. In addition to its training programs, ISFB offers numerous advantages to its members and industry professionals, including strategic partnerships with major training players and a solid professional network, facilitating exchanges and opportunities in the industry.
