Pictet Group joins the Board of ISFB

Geneva, May 16, 2025 - On the occasion of its Annual General Meeting 2025, the Institut Supérieur de Formation Bancaire (ISFB) announces the appointment of Mr Alexandre Tavazzi to its Board, effective June 1, to represent Banque Pictet & Cie. Mr. Cédric Anker, an independent member, will be stepping down on the same date after 20 years of commitment to the association. The ISFB Board, chaired by Christian Skaanild, is made up of representatives of the member banks, all of whom are involved at the highest level in the management of the banks and financial institutions operating in French-speaking Switzerland. Mathias Baitan is the ISFB's Chief Executive Officer. As a professional association, ISFB offers its members shared services in the fields of training and human resources.

 

About Alexandre Tavazzi

Alexandre Tavazzi joined Pictet & Cie in 1997 as a senior analyst for the Japanese market and manager of the Japanese equity fund. He subsequently held the positions of Head of Advisory, co-Head Portfolio Management & Equity Research, then Chief Equity Strategist in 2015 within Pictet Wealth Management. In 2016, he was appointed Head of CIO Office and in 2021 spent 6 months in Hong Kong as CIO. Today, he heads the CIO Office and Macroeconomic Research at Pictet Wealth Management.
