Telomere Capital joins ISFB: interview with Petra Kordosova

June 2, 2025

Telomere Capital recently joined the ISFB as an institutional member. On this occasion, Petra Kordosova, HR Director, discusses the motivations that led to this membership, the challenges related to continuing education in the financial sector, and the collaboration established with the Institute. An insightful account of the importance of sustainable investment in skills development.

What were the main reasons why your company decided to join the ISFB as an institutional member?

In 2023, in anticipation of the growing demands of the Swiss market, we certified five employees with the SAQ CWMA. Following this process, we contacted the ISFB to explore available recertification options.

Our discussions with the ISFB team were particularly enriching. We were presented with several training proposals, all relevant and tailored to our needs. We ultimately opted for a fully customized recertification program, delivered directly on our premises.
Convinced by the quality of ISFB's approach and expertise, we have decided to join the institute as a member. This decision marks an important step in our commitment to the continuous development of our teams' skills.

We look forward to starting this first training session as part of the CWMA recertification very soon.

Could you tell us a little about your establishment?

It was in 2015 that we decided to found Telomere Capital, an independent wealth management company, with the ambition of building our projects around the "Spirit of Performance": a different way of conceiving our job as wealth managers; a true credo that today allows us to far exceed all our growth forecasts.

A Geneva-based company with 11 employees, we are committed to creating a framework conducive to professional development by encouraging skills development, autonomy, and involvement in strategic decisions. This commitment translates into strong internal motivation and the active contribution of each individual to the company's development.

As a human-sized structure, we place high standards and innovation at the heart of our business, while maintaining proximity and responsiveness.
We support a private clientele made up of individuals, families, senior executives and entrepreneurs, and have the advantage of being able to focus on a limited portfolio of clients, prioritizing quality of service, research and investment.

How do you see this membership contributing to the development of your employees' skills and enhancing the attractiveness of your employer brand?

Membership in the ISFB strengthens our external training offering, complementing our internal sessions dedicated to AML and compliance. It provides our employees with access to high-quality specialized modules, fostering their development of expertise and demonstrating our concrete commitment to their professional development.

What types of training or certification offered by the ISFB seem particularly relevant to your teams?

For us, CWMA recertification and compliance training are essential to maintaining a high level of expertise and meeting industry requirements. Thanks to the personalized approach developed in collaboration with ISFB, we were able to select six targeted modules, covering high-value topics.

We believe that recertification training should not only be about earning credits, but should above all be a rewarding experience—which is what we fully expect from this program.

What do you think our professional association can contribute to the French-speaking world?

ISFB enjoys an excellent reputation in the market, notably thanks to the quality of its training, the relevance of its content and its expertise in the financial field.

In a constantly changing environment, where adaptation and upskilling have become imperatives, it seemed essential to us to be able to rely on a reliable, responsive and recognized player.

This is why we chose to become a member of the ISFB, convinced that its educational approach, its in-depth knowledge of the challenges of the sector and its ability to respond to the specific needs of financial institutions constitute major assets to support the sustainable development of the skills of our employees.

This decision is fully in line with our human capital investment strategy and reflects our desire to offer high added-value training courses, serving operational excellence and collective performance.
