AZQORE joins ISFB: a strategic choice for skills development

May 5, 2025

By joining the ISFB as an institutional member, AZQORE is confirming its commitment to placing skills development at the heart of its strategy. This partnership is part of a structured approach to certification, ongoing training and talent development, closely linked to the challenges facing the banking sector.

What were the main reasons why your company decided to join the ISFB as an institutional member?

ISFB is a benchmark institution for the development of banking and financial skills. With a majority of its staff specializing in banking operations, our establishment requires ongoing support for its employees on subjects such as products, back-office organization and regulatory aspects. It was natural for us to call on the ISFB to support us in this strategic project to develop the skills of our Operations teams.

This membership also enables us to raise AZQORE's profile within the banking ecosystem in French-speaking Switzerland, and to benefit from the ISFB's career management services.

Could you tell us a little about your establishment?

A subsidiary of the Crédit Agricole Group and Capgemini, based in Lausanne, Switzerland, Azqore is the business & tech partner of private banks and wealth managers worldwide. Nearly 800 employees work here every day from Switzerland, Singapore and Portugal to manage their IT and process their banking operations with a very high level of service quality. Our platform, designed by bankers for bankers, enables us to develop a secure business, with no operational risk. It offers state-of-the-art banking operations processing, recognized worldwide.

How do you see this membership contributing to the development of your employees' skills and enhancing the attractiveness of your employer brand?

The project we have set up with ISFB is based on the co-construction of training programs, which we integrate into our internal expert certification schemes. A good understanding of the business challenges and their operational implications enables our trainers, who themselves have solid experience in the banking sector, to best shape the training courses we deploy at AZQORE. These training courses also enable AZQORE to position itself as a genuine "talent incubator".

What types of training or certification offered by the ISFB seem particularly relevant to your teams?

For sales teams, the ISFB Private Banking Certificate is particularly well-suited, as it offers a generalist vision of the private banking profession. The knowledge acquired through this certification enables us to provide our customers with the best possible support in dealing with a wide range of regulatory, tax, legal and management-related issues.

What do you think our professional association can contribute to the French-speaking world?

It's one of the ways in which Swiss banking expertise, and French-speaking banking in particular, is being promoted: a platform for sharing and exchanging information, and for keeping abreast of all banking and financial issues.
