ISFB Insight launches its print magazine, a quarterly publication on banking and financial skills development in French-speaking Switzerland
June 18, 2026
Today, the ISFB is launching the print edition of ISFB Insight. Published quarterly, this new magazine features a selection of the most-read articles from the ISFB website and devotes more space to in-depth interviews, career profiles, and topics that are shaping the skills landscape in the banking and financial ecosystem of French-speaking Switzerland.
A quarterly magazine on banking and finance
Since January 2023, ISFB Insight has primarily operated online. Articles, interviews, opinion pieces, newsletters, and social media posts have gradually established an editorial platform dedicated to careers, professional paths, and skills development in the banking and finance sectors of French-speaking Switzerland.
With the launch of its first print issue, ISFB Insight is taking a new step forward today. The magazine will now be published quarterly. It will feature a selection of articles originally published on the ISFB website, with a focus on those that have generated the most interest among readers.
The goal is not to replace the web. Digital media remains the platform for responsiveness, dissemination, and direct access to the latest industry news. Print serves a different purpose: it curates, compiles, and gives greater longevity to content that deserves to be preserved, reread, and shared.
The magazine for the banking and financial ecosystem in French-speaking Switzerland
ISFB Insight (print edition) aims to be the magazine dedicated to skills development within the banking and financial ecosystem of French-speaking Switzerland.
It highlights career paths, the experiences of executives, insights from experts, and cross-cutting themes across various professions. Through in-depth interviews, opinion pieces, accessible articles, and perspectives from the field, the magazine showcases what makes the French-speaking Swiss financial center so rich: career journeys, expertise, a culture of continuing education, and the ability to pass on knowledge.
This publication is intended for ISFB member institutions, industry professionals, HR managers, trainers, and anyone interested in the evolution of careers in banking and finance.
A broadcast designed for students, ISFB Hub members, and employees of member institutions
The print edition of ISFB Insight will be available at the ISFB offices for all our visitors. It will also be sent to members of the ISFB Hub to help maintain connections with certified professionals and others associated with the institute.
ISFB member institutions will also be able to distribute it internally to their employees. The magazine thus becomes a shared resource that promotes a culture of training, skills development, and the visibility of banking and finance careers in French-speaking Switzerland.
The first issue focuses on career paths, AI, and adult education
This first issue sets the tone. The in-depth interviews highlight the career paths of two female executives: Camille Vial, CEO of Mirabaud & Cie SA, and Kim-Andrée Potvin, CEO of Banque Bonhôte. In these interviews, they discuss decision-making, longevity, high standards, passing the torch, and professional development.
The ISFB Observatory’s special report examines artificial intelligence and skills, featuring a discussion that goes beyond the overly simplistic dichotomy between humans and machines. It also explores adult education as a space for creating meaning in the face of evolving careers and professions.
The opinion pieces explore the relationship between information and knowledge, as well as decision-making as a skill associated with management. This issue also features an article by Stéphane Bonzon on career reflections, followed by an update on the ISFB, its network, and its experts.
Extend the lifespan of works that have found their audience
The editorial philosophy behind ISFB Insight is simple: the web provides the momentum, and print preserves the record.
Each quarter, the print magazine will feature a curated selection of content published online, in a format designed for reading, keeping, and sharing. Some articles will be reprinted in their entirety. Others will be presented in an abridged version, with the option to continue reading on the ISFB website.
This connection between print and digital media reflects how the ISFB views its mission: to provide timely information as industries evolve, while also allowing time for learning, ideas, and professional experience.
Contributing to competitiveness and employability
With the launch of the print edition of ISFB Insight, the ISFB is expanding its role as a center of expertise and career development for the banking and financial sector in French-speaking Switzerland.
The mission remains clear: to contribute to the development of the skills base of the French-speaking Swiss financial center, to support the competitiveness of member institutions, and to enhance the employability of professionals in the industry.
In an era when professions are evolving, tools are changing, and career paths are becoming less linear, we also need resources that bring people together. The print edition of ISFB Insight aims to provide precisely that: a simple, useful, and sustainable magazine dedicated to skills, professions, and the people who drive the banking and finance sectors in French-speaking Switzerland.
