New certificates, 100% financing and young talent: ISFB steps up its offering for the second half of 2025!
July 1, 2025
For the start of the 2025 academic year, ISFB is expanding its training offering with five new certificates, a Summer School dedicated to young graduates, and 100% financing opportunities thanks to the support of the FFPC. Designed in close collaboration with banking institutions, these programs respond to concrete market needs and aim to enhance the employability of industry professionals. Here's an overview of what's new and what's on the horizon.
What does ISFB plan to offer in the second half of 2025?
For the second half of this year, ISFB is offering no less than five new certificates alongside our flagship courses! The Management Assistant, PB Advanced, Staff and Support, Internal Control and Risk Management and Data Fundamentals certificates are joining the catalog. Always attentive to the needs of its member establishments, ISFB designs its programs in collaboration with local banks, in order to be as close as possible to the skills required on the market.
Thanks to our partnership with the FFPC, several certificates can be financed up to 100%. Can you tell us more about this opportunity?
In fact, this semester, five specialization certificates will benefit from 100% financing, thanks to the support of the FFPC and a contribution from the ISFB. This support is aimed at maintaining the employability of people in employment, and is therefore a particularly relevant preventive measure. This means that employees of member companies can register now, without being charged any fees. This 100% financing is only available to employees in the banking and finance sector working in the canton of Geneva. All you have to do is mention the code FFPC-S2-2025 when registering to benefit from this financing, provided that you meet the financing criteria, and that your employer allows you to follow the entire course. Anyone wishing to take advantage of this format is therefore advised to check with their manager or HR department.
Five new certificates will be available from this semester onwards. Can you tell us a little about them?
Summarizing them here in a few words is no mean feat, as they cover such a wide spectrum of skills and functions, I'd be happy to refer you to the details of these available on our website. However, whether you're looking to prove your professional practice or profile yourself in a specific function, I can assure you that you'll find plenty to enhance your skills and employability on subjects ranging from data and risk management to support and wealth management expertise! And all this with the support of professionals who are active in the ISFB financial ecosystem, and who offer hands-on experience that can be directly applied on a day-to-day basis.
ISFB also offers a Summer School for recent graduates. What are its objectives, and why is it relevant today to introduce young talent to the banking sector via this type of program?
The aim of the Summer School is to teach participants the fundamentals of the banking and business world, enabling them to develop their posture and impact, and better understand employers' expectations. All in a demanding, caring and action-oriented atmosphere. The idea was born out of a survey of the needs of economics students in French-speaking Switzerland, with a view to building bridges and enabling young graduates to meet the players in the financial sector. It combines theoretical input from the field, practical exercises, presentations by current executives, a visit to a bank and, on the final day, direct exchanges with recruiters from several banking establishments.
What role do you play in meeting the specific needs of your establishments or in co-constructing tailor-made programs?
We place great emphasis on this. Visits to member banks, as well as to other financial institutions and associations in the marketplace, are essential to ensure that our professional institute meets real, current and future needs. Co-constructing curricula with them is the only way to ensure consistency between the skills sought by the financial community and those acquired in our certificates. That's why all our certificates are "sponsored" by a program director, who acts as a guarantor of the content taught.
